Here is an overview of Mount Royal Month activities. The complete calendar with details will be available soon.

CONSERVATION ACTIVITIES
  • Corvée du Mont-Royal clean up : Sunday, May 4, registration from 8:45 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Mount Royal Environmental Stewardship Program, every Saturday, from May 17 to October 18, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Journée de la nature on Mount Royal – free family activities, held in collaboration with the David Suzuki Foundtion, Saturday, May 17, on the mountain's northern summit
    • Birdwatching, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
    • Gardening at the Université de Montréal’s tree nursery from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
    • Gather, explore and play on the northern summit from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
ART AND MUSIC
  • "La montagne en images" photo contest 2014: regulations and registration form coming soon
  • Dimanches en musique at the Chalet Du Mont-Royal: In collaboration with the Ville de Montréal and TD Bank Group, principal partner : “Printemps Baroque” featuring the Schulich School of Music of McGill University, Sunday, May 18, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Festival Chromatic at the Chalet du Mont-Royal, May 24 to 26: chromatic.ca
    • Journée Chromatic Junior, Sunday May 25: free family guided walks to explore the habitats of Mount Royal with Les amis de la montagne, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m..
CONFERENCES AND GUIDED WALKS
  • Les amis de la montagne’s Public Forum: "Living/Life on the mountain - challenges and opportunities", Wednesday, May 7, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • “Mount Royal flora: the forest and the human story”: conference in collaboration with the Belles Soirées of the Université de Montréal, Tuesday, May 13, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.; Guided walk, Tuesday, May 20, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • “Mount Royal flora: the forest and the human story” in collaboration with the Redpath Museum, Friday, May 9, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Guided walk "The Mystery of Beaver Lake", Thursday, May 15, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
