The Tuques Bleues Celebration and Snowshoe Event is one of Les amis de la montagne's principal activities and signature fundraising events.
The celebration is a unique, spectacular and magical night time event in the great outdoors that allows participants the opportunity to rediscover and appreciate the mountain’s charms. The evening recalls the celebrated torchlight snowshoe hikes led by 19th Century sporting clubs that features a timed race and a walk in snowshoes through the mountain forest with a medal and prize ceremony, outdoor barbecue and gastronomic meal at the Chalet.
The event, held each year in February as part of the Montreal High Lights Festival, gathers close to 800 participants and provides you and your employees with a unique opportunity to join this important conservation initiative in the heart of Montreal.
