If you've been fortunate enough to enjoy the beautiful weather in Mount Royal Park in recent weeks, you may have noticed unusual installations in some of the park’s trees.
To celebrate Montréal’s 375th anniversary, Les amis de la montagne offers revamped discovery walks and a series of new walking tours specially created for the occasion.
The exhibition In the Footsteps of our Discoverers – The Remarkable History of Montréal is on view until December 15.

From June to October, Les amis de la montagne invites Montrealers to enjoy a wide range of recreational activities in Mount Royal Park.
Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.until the end of October, Les amis de la montagne invites you to volunteer with its Environmental Stewardship Program, dedicated to conservation work on Mount Royal.

On May 27, the second edition of the eco-friendly race Changer le monde avec Équiterre will take place on the mountain.
Les amis de la montagne is launching a vast citizens’ campaign entitled “We love our Mountain. Let’s support UNESCO status for Mount Royal.” in an effort to gather at least 30,000 signatures supporting the bid for Mount Royal’s inclusion on Canada’s 2017 Tentative List for World Heritage Sites. This is the first step towards having the place we affectionately call “the Mountain” designated a UNESCO World Heritage site.

The 20th edition of the Tuques Bleues benefit event brought together close to 400 snowshoers and 75 runners on a snow-laden Mount Royal last Thursday evening, February 16.
Les amis de la montagne is pleased to offer a unique day camp in Mount Royal Park. The first phase of an important landscaping project designed by the City of Montréal, undertaken to build the missing part of a footpath linking the park’s main staircase to the Kondiaronk Belvedere and the Mount Royal Chalet, is now complete.
