Contribute to the bird winter census by joining the FeederWatch Project on Mount Royal


Les amis de la montagne are looking for volunteers available on Fridays and/or Saturdays. A training session will be held this Saturday, January 18,

Under the auspices of the Mount Royal Conservation Patrol, Les amis de la montagne are calling all interested volunteers to participate in the FeederWatch Project in Mount-Royal Park, every Friday and Saturday until mid-March 2014.

The FeederWatch project is an inventory of winter birds at feeders that began in Canada and the United States in 1976. Les amis de la montagne participate to the Project since 10 years.

  • A training session will take place on Saturday, January 18, in French from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and in English from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
