There were many environmental activities taking place on Mount Royal this September! TD Tree Days, Tree Canada National Tree Day and HEC Montréal’s edible forest have allowed numerous partners and participants to learn about the importance of trees within the urban environment.

“It’s fantastic that Mount Royal attracts the involvement of numerous Canadian organizations devoted to educate the public, employees from leading business and universities. Each project offers the opportunity for its participants to contribute to improve our mountain by preserving its biodiversity, adding to its biomass and restoring natural environments”, said Sylvie Guilbault, Les amis de la montagne’s Executive Director.

To get involved on Mount Royal, join volunteer teams, or plan an event in order to protect and enhance the mountain, consult Les amis de la montagne’s website.
