Musical Sundays at the Chalet du Mont-Royal - Past and present Jazz with the McGill Jazz Orchestra 1, on October 12

2014-10-09

Last concert of the 2014 season!

MCGILL JAZZ ORCHESTRA 1 will close the 2014 concert season with outstanding jazz live performance

The free concert series continues at the Chalet du Mont-Royal on Sunday, October 12, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.

This concert is produced in collaboration with the Schulich School of Music Jazz program. This series of concerts aims to promote the talent of young students hailing from musical institutions on the flanks of the mountain and wishes to re-establish the musical tradition of this exceptional site.

Stay with us after the show! Les amis de la montagne will provide a free guided visit of the Chalet (in English and in French), relating its history, architecture and decorative paintings.

Produced by Les amis de la montagne jointly with the Ville de Montréal, the concert series is also made possible thanks to the support of the TD Bank, principal partner, and Journal Métro, media partner.
