2014-09-04

A talented piano duo that likes to laugh and make people laugh!

Duo Ex-Aequo, on September 7: Piano for four hands or the art of getting along!

The free concert series continues at the Chalet du Mont-Royal on Sunday, September 7, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Come live the experience of the Duo Ex-Aequo with their original touch of humor that is sure to please the whole family! Laurence Lambert-Chan and Roman Pollet form a talented comic piano duo of American and Quebec musical repertoire.

This concert is produced in collaboration with the Faculté de musique de l’Université de Montréal that, at the confluence of European traditions and American avant-gardism, attracts and promotes talented students from Canada and all around the world. This series of concerts aims to promote the talent of young students hailing from musical institutions on the flanks of the mountain and wishes to re-establish the musical tradition of this exceptional site.

Stay with us after the show! Les amis de la montagne will provide a free guided visit of the Chalet (in English and in French), relating its history, architecture and decorative paintings.

Produced by Les amis de la montagne jointly with the Ville de Montréal, the concert series is also made possible thanks to the support of the TD Bank, principal partner, and Journal Métro, media partner.
