NATURE DAYS ON MOUNT ROYAL - FAMILY ACTIVITIES

Within the “Nature Days” of the David Suzuki Foundation, Les amis de la montagne offers a full day of nature discoveries on the North flank of Mount Royal.

BIRDWATCHING
From 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Observe the birds and discover the various habitat of the North side of the mountain: Maple groves, Red Oak stand and brownfield areas, guided by an ornithologist from Les amis de la montagne. The hike will reach the Outremont summit. Bring your binoculars!
Registration required. Places are limited. 8 years and over.
 
GARDENING AT THE UNIVERSITÉ DE MONTRÉAL'S TREE NURSERY
From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Activity offered within the Environmental Stewardship Program.
 
GATHER, EXPLORE AND PLAY ON THE OUTREMONT SUMMIT
From 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Meet a beekeeper and visit the hives of the Université de Montréal, join a guided walk to discover the forest at the summit and test your knowledge by participating in the tree nursery Rally. An afternoon full of emotions and surprises!
