Commitment and support from Montreal's leaders for the Mount Royal Circle

Under the honorary chairmanship of Mr. Raymond Bachand, President of the Board of Directors of Tourism Montreal, and in the presence of Peter A. Howlett, C.M., Founding President of Les amis de la montagne, we held the Mount Royal Circle Breakfast, on October 15th, at the Mount Royal Club.

For the tenth consecutive year, the Breakfast gathered Mount Royal Circle’s members and people from Montreal’s business community to present Les amis de la montagne’s highlights and accomplishments. Mr. Bachand stressed the importance of conserving and enriching Mount Royal, and the need to improve its accessibility. Mount Royal is an exceptional site in North America and an important tourist attraction; it contributes to the quality of life of citizens and to the economic health of Montreal. It is our collective responsibility to take action to ensure its sustainable development for the benefit of current and future generations. The commitment and financial support of corporations, foundations and citizens are essential to the success of Les amis de la montagne’s mission to protect and enhance Mount Royal.

Les amis de la montagne wishes to thank all the people who honoured us with their presence at the Mount Royal Circle Breakfast.
