The Café des Amis now operates two venues on the mountain!
With the recent launch of its second venue, the Café des Amis is now pleased to host park users at both Smith House and the Beaver Lake Pavilion. Thanks to a successful partnership between Les amis de la montagne and the City of Montréal, skaters, hikers, skiers, snowshoers and other park visitors can enjoy the Café seven days a week. Café operating hours at the Beaver Lake Pavilion run daily from 9 a.m.; at Smith House, they run Sunday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Café-goers can enjoy homemade soups, hot mains, sandwiches, salads and desserts, and a fine selection of fair trade and organic coffees, teas and hot chocolate. All revenues generated by the Café are reinvested by Les amis de la montagne for the benefit of Mount Royal Park and its users.
