Did you enjoy participating in the Corvée? Here's how to contribute to Mount Royal's environmental protection on a weekly basis.
From May 30 to October 31 2015, every Saturday from 10 am to 12 pm, expand your knowledge of conservation issues while taking part in environmental activities to preserve and balance Mount Royal’s biodiversity.
These community-based conservation actions are organised in the framework of Les amis de la montagne stewardship programme and will vary based on the season and needs.
On the agenda: Dog-strangling vine uprooting (invasive exotic plant); Common Buckthorn and Norway Maple logging (invasive exotic shrub and tree); Public-awareness campaign on problems surrounding Mount Royal’s conservation; Native trees and shrubs plantation; Follow-up of previous tree plantations.
May 30: The Feeder Forests of Mount Royal
