From February 26 to March 7, Les amis de la montagne offers a full slate of activities to enjoy winter for free or for a friendly price.

$17: 12-15 years of age       $20: 16 years of age and older

Soup Up at the Café des Amis

Enjoy a hearty soup in the warm setting of Smith House before your outing on Mount Royal. Friday and Saturday evenings, 5 to 6 :30 p.m


Winter Rendez-Vous at Smith House (FREE)

Drop-in activity in the exhibition gallery and outside Smith House.
February 29 – March 6 at 1 p.m.

 

Snow Tubing

Monday to Friday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

$5: 4 to11 years of age
$9: 12 and older

One-day passes are not transferable and provide access to designated lanes and the use of one snow tube. Children under 4 years of age are not permitted on snow tubes.

 

Sliding (FREE)

Until March 7 (weather permitting)
Friday, at 5 p.m. through Sunday, 6 p.m.

 

Skating at Beaver Lake (FREE)

Open 7 days a week, until March 7

Sunday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

 

Outdoor Equipment Rental Service at Beaver Lake Pavilion (ground level)

Les amis de la montagne operate an outdoor equipment rental counter where you can outfit yourself and your family to skate, cross-country ski, snowshoe and more. Pick up a free map of Mount Royal Park’s walking paths (10 kilometres in winter), cross-country ski trails (22 kilometres) and snowshoeing trails (3 kilometres).
