After crossing the park’s summit and discovering its forest and flowers, enjoy the majestic path of the escarpment and a succession of surprising views of the city. In French and English

MAY 12 | Guided Walking Tour: Sous-bois, plantes printanières et arbres remarquables

In the company of a biologist, discover Mont-Royal’s forest floor flowers and note their exceptional diversity. This is also an opportunity to see some remarkable trees selected by the City of Montréal for their cultural and dendrological value

MAY 19 | Conference: Le flanc est du mont Royal – Villas, parcs et urbanisation

In the mid-nineteenth century, the eastern slope of Mount Royal was surrounded by large rural villas. The creation of Mount Royal Park in 1876 and subsequent urbanisation transformed the area by the end of the century. How did these homes coexist with the park and what is left of them today?

MAY 26 | Guided Walking Tour: Belvédères et points de vue

With its three summits, Mount Royal offers a selection of scenic views. This guided tour reveals a succession of spectacular vistas and encourages the exploration of issues relating to the protection of city and mountain views.
