A range of youth activities to experience nature on Mount Royal.
With sunny days ahead, it's time to plan your spring outing on Mount Royal!
Guided hikes, geology activities, mountain rallys... Our school programmes inspire a sense of wonder, while promoting the discovery of Mount Royal among youth of preschool, primary and secondary levels, using scientific, experiential, emotional and sensory approaches.

It’s spring! Nature is waking up and Les amis de la montagne is pleased to continue its pilot project connecting children with nature!
The Club AMIS is:
- An immersive experience in nature on Mount Royal
- Experiential learning guided by the elements and the seasons
- Adventures that foster a spirit of community
- Discoveries that awaken curiosity
- A first step in shaping the next generation of custodians of Mount Royal
Programme for 3 to 5 Year Olds
Sing with the birds, play with the trees, dance under the rain, imagine and share mystical tales outdoors; a full sensory adventure for your little ones! Guided by an environmental educator, this parent*-child activity allows children to develop a sense of well-being in nature while discovering the mountain.
*The parent/adult may be a legal guardian, a tutor or another member of the family.

Programme for 6 to 8 Year Olds
Discover the diverse habitats of Mount Royal, whether blindfolded or crawling on all fours. Young explorers will learn to know the flora and fauna as well as their own best friends! This programme will sharpen their senses and awaken their natural instincts.
