Celebrate Spring on the Mountain in May!

During May: Mount Royal Month, Les amis de la montagne and its partners invite Montrealers to rekindle ties with Mount Royal with an array of activities!

For Montreal’s 375th anniversary, our theme is “Celebrate Montreal, Celebrate Mount Royal”, highlighting the rich history of our mountain, this iconic site which shapes Montreal’s landscape and culture.

- Learn more about biodiversity during the Summer School “Did you say biodiversity?”, organized with the Université de Montréal.

- Don’t miss the inaugural classical music concert of the 2017 Musical Sundays in the Mount Royal Chalet.

- Dance under the stars at the Beaver Lake Pavilion with traditional and electro music.

- Attend a special performance by L’École supérieure de ballet du Québec at the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery where dancers will perform one of a series of reverences in honour of the city's founders.

- Discover the views on the mountain and at the Au Sommet Place Ville Marie observatory during our discovery walks “From One Summit to Another!” and take part in all our other discovery walks!

Looking forward seeing you on the mountain in May!
