Our series of Musical Sundays at the Mount Royal Chalet may be finished, but Les amis de la montagne has decided that the cultural season in this majestic site is not over yet! In the coming weeks, we will offer visitors an intimate acoustic concert and a contemporary music and dance performance. On October 21, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., come listen to a baroque jazz trio in the Chalet or enjoy short performances of contemporary dancers, accompanied by musicians, on October 29, from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Every Saturday until October 28, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Les amis de la montagne invites Montrealers to get involved and help protect Mount Royal’s natural habitats by participating in conservation activities. Every weekend of October, volunteers remove dog-strangling vine, an invasive exotic plant, or plant trees on the mountain. Meet us at Smith House, equipment is provided!
