THIS WEEKEND, ACTIVITIES AT MAISON SMITH

ANIMAL TRACKS IN WINTER

Les amis de la montagne invite the whole family to participate in a discussion with an environmental educator at Maison Smith, before heading outdoors for an observation walk in Mont-Royal Park searching for animal tracks and habitats. Maybe you’ll spot a Red Fox looking for food or a Barred Owl camouflaged in a tree!

EXHIBITION OF HISTORICAL PHOTOGRAPHS AND ILLUSTRATIONS

Discover the fascinating history of winter sports on Mont Royal through a series of illustrations and photographs from the last 150 years.

BIRD OBSERVATION

Did you know that you can see up to forty different bird species in winter on Mount Royal? Discover them on your own by visiting the seven bird feeders located on the summit loop, alongside Chemin Olmsted. Keep your eyes open for nearby birds of prey!

GUIDED SNOWSHOE WALK "BY THE LIGHT OF THE CITY"

Every Saturday night until March 9. An illuminating way to discover the mountain! Follow Les amis' guide along the forest trails offering amazing views of the city lights.

LES AMIS' 5@SOUPE

Before heading out for a hike or just to take a break, the Café des Amis at Maison Smith offers a special snowshoers’ meal-in-a-soup in a warm atmosphere every Saturday until March 9, until 6:30 p.m.
