The transformation of the mountain’s great institutions is both real and unavoidable. Following the former Sulpicians’ philosophy seminary and the former convent of the sisters of Saints-Noms-de-Jésus-et-de-Marie, several great domains and heritage buildings, including the Shriner’s, Royal Victoria and Hôtel-Dieu hospitals, will be vacated by their owners and possibly put up for sale on the real estate market. What should be the criteria to ensure that these changes are made for the collective good of the community?

Paul Montminy, development advisor, is our invited guest at the next public forum. Mr. Montminy will share his diverse experiences in the conversion of heritage institutional properties in Quebec and elsewhere.
