RECONFIGURATION OF THE CEDAR-CÔTE-DES-NEIGES INTERSECTION
Follow-up to the Mount Royal Summit: accessibility and green spaces
The Ville de Montréal is planning major work on the aqueduct/sewer system and other infrastructures near the Avenue Cedar and Chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges intersection in 2014. These major projects provide the opportunity to reconfigure this critical intersection that connects an entrance to Mount Royal Park with the Montreal General Hospital and a residential neighbourhood.
Lucie Robin and Daniel Chartier, landscape architects, Stéphane Blais and Guy Pellerin, Service des infrastructures, transport et environnement, Ville de Montréal, will present their work and thinking to date on this reconfiguration at Les amis de la montagne’s public forum on March 19.
Please join us to share your opinion and your vision of the future of this important area of the mountain.
Meanwhile, (re)discover Belvédère Éphémère, an edifying and festive event created in 2011 that was able to reinterpret the space and succeed in inspiring us to take a new look at this public space through an artistic vision.
