PUBLIC INFORMATION SESSION ON THE MOUNT ROYAL RING ROAD
The Mount Royal ring road will form a loop around the mountain of about a dozen kilometres. This trail will traverse Mount Royal Park, the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges cemetery and the University de Montréal. Intended for pedestrians and cyclists, the trail will improve the accessibility to the mountain while contributing to the reunification of its three summits.
As an important component of the Mount Royal Protection and Enhancement Plan, the ring road will enhance the biodiversity and the quality of the mountain’s landscapes by linking its various points of interest. The realization of this trail also provides the occasion to restore different heritage elements in its path.
Join us to discuss this project with the Ville de Montréal’s Daniel Groulx, chef de division, Daniel Chartier and Annie Allard, landscape architects with the Direction des grands parcs et du verdissement.
