For the eighth consecutive year, the Breakfast gathered members of the Mount Royal Circle and guests of the Montreal business community for an overview of Les amis de la montagne’s achievements and activities. Mr. Garneau testified to the importance of preserving Mount Royal, a unique site in the heart of the city, and our collective responsibility to take action to ensure sustainable development for the benefit of current and future generations. The involvement of Montreal’s business community and its citizens is essential to the success of Les amis’ initiatives in the protection and enhancement of Mount Royal.

Mr. Howlett spoke of the "Mount Royal Summit 2013" that echoes the 2002 Summit, which laid the foundation for the current regime of protection of Mount Royal’s heritage. This summit will allow us, among others things, to continue to watch over the mountain.
