On February 17, 2011,
reach the summit!
The Tuques Bleues Celebration evokes the famous torch-lit snowshoe climbs of Montreal’s sporting clubs held in the 19th Century. On February 17, 2011, more than 700 participants will gather for a snowshoe ascent of Mount Royal and support the signature event of Les amis de la montagne, a citizens’ initiative dedicated to protecting and enhancing this emblem of our collective identity.
The Tuques Bleues Celebration is a tremendous team-building event, networking opportunity and outdoor activity that allows Montrealers the occasion to underline the importance of preserving this vital gathering place that defines Montreal’s unique character.
Strive to surpass yourself this winter and join the hundreds of visionaries who contribute, through their commitment and their joie-de-vivre, to the perpetuity of this symbol of vitality and pride for both current and future generations. Come and savour a gastronomic feast with colleagues or friends in the grandiose décor of the Chalet du Mont-Royal with Montreal’s night sky as a backdrop. In fact, the Tuques Bleues Celebration is one of the events that participate in the launch of the Montreal High Lights Festival.
For more information or to contribute to this benefit event, please contact Geneviève Catta at 514 843-8240, ext. 239. You may also purchase your tickets securely online at a cost of $200 each by visiting Les amis de la montagne’ website.
