As friends of the mountain, we believe in getting children outside from an early age so they learn about and appreciate the environment at their own pace. Our forest school activities, day camps and cross-country ski program give kids (and parents) a fresh outlook on Mount Royal!
This winter, take advantage of our reservation system to rent cross-country ski and snowshoes for you and the family.
Young people aged 17 and under living on the island of Montréal can borrow equipment for free, upon presentation of a proof of residence.
No reservations. First come, first served. It's time to play outside!

Our nature immersion activities reconnect children ages 0 to 12 with the natural environment through hands-on learning, creativity and play. Pint-size nature lovers explore Mount Royal and learn about its protection under the wings of seasoned educators.
Summer camp for 5 to 12 year olds is the perfect way for kids to unplug and reconnect with nature as they discover, explore and play in the great outdoors in Mount Royal Park.
Our cross-country ski club introduces children ages 4 to 15 to the pleasures of this sport in the city! Kids learn the basics and hone their skills on 22 km of groomed trails in Mount Royal Park.
