Mount Royal Clean-Up 2020

Celebrate the arrival of spring by helping us clean the mountain! New this year, actions will include collecting waste and recovering residual materials for recycling or valorization.

Mount Royal Chalet

In response to measures taken by the Government of Quebec to limit the spread of COVID-19, the Mount Royal Clean-Up 2020, scheduled for Sunday, May 3, is cancelled until further notice.

Contribute to biodiversity and environmental protection by collecting waste and recovering residual materials in the wooded areas of Mount Royal Park.

This vast Clean-Up operation promotes the principles of the zero waste movement by focusing on residual material management. Actions carried out in the field will therefore go further than collecting trash, and will involve the sorting and management of materials.

Participants will be grouped into teams of 15 and supervised by a volunteer team leader trained by Les amis de la montagne. We provide the gloves and all the necessary equipment for the collection and sorting of residual materials.

A healthy snack will be offered to all participants.

In the spirit of zero waste, Les amis de la montagne invites participants to bring a zero waste picnic and wear their t-shirt from a previous edition of the Clean-Up.

Registration is done on the day of the Clean-Up at the Mount Royal Chalet from 8:45 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. Limited places. First come, first served!
