Our rental counter has everything you need to get active on Mount Royal this winter!

Beaver Lake Pavilion

Les amis de la montagne operates a sports equipment rental service for skating, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snow tubing and morek. You can also pick up a map of the marked trails for cross-country skiing (22 km), snowshoeing (3 km) and hiking (10 km in winter) in Mount Royal Park. 

Note: Photo ID is required for all rentals.

Schedule from December 1 to 13:

  • Sunday to Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Schedule from December 14 to March 15:

  • Sunday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • December 24 and 31: closed at 5 p.m.
  • New! Open on December 25 and January 1, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Rentals stop one hour prior to closing.




$10 for 2 hours

Skates after 6 p.m. $ 8 for 2 hours
