Video Game Music

Pianist Laurence Manning pays tribute to video games and their composers with her creative musical arrangements honouring Zelda, Mario and Final Fantasy.

Pianist Laurence Manning meshes the art of music and the world of video games in this concert for fans of all ages! Her rich and unique arrangements are inspired by the music of games such as Zelda, Final Fantasy, Mario, Kirby, Shovel Knight, Golden Sun and Castlevania.

Duration: 50 minutes (with presentations between pieces)

Laurence Manning studied at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal and at Université de Montréal where she completed her PhD in piano interpretation in 2018. She began exploring video game music in 2016, creating her own arrangements for piano which she posted on YouTube. She is also a founding member of Trio Trifantasy for which she writes original arrangements of video game music for piano, violin and cello.
