We expect to welcome lots of cross-country skiers to Mount Royal this winter! Registration for youth cross-country ski lessons opened on October 20th and they filled up in minutes. Enrollment for adult group lessons began on November 24th, and that proved to be a huge success as well! Registration for adult private lessons will start on December 10th at 10 a.m., so mark your calendars with the time and date. Note that you can get on the waiting lists for the lessons that are already full. If there are enough people on the waiting lists we may be able to open up new lesson slots, so don’t hesitate!

As far as our sports facilities are concerned, we’re at the mercy of Mother Nature. If all goes well, the refrigerated rink may be ready to welcome the first skaters of the season on December 10th. If conditions allow, we might also be able to prepare the snow tubing slides with artificial snow. Fingers crossed that we’ll be able to get them up and running as of December 17th.
