Harmful species control: Ragweed

The activity involves manually removing ragweed, a species that poses a public health issue.
Harmful species control: Ragweed

Considered one of the most harmful plants to public health in Quebec, ragweed affects nearly one in five people during the flowering season in mid-July. Because of its great allergenic potential, Les Amis de la montagne are working hard to limit its presence on the mountain in order to limit sneezing during this period. Join us in improving the quality of visits to the mountain!
As a volunteer, you'll learn to recognize ragweed and be asked to pull it out manually to control its spread.
