Guided Excursion: Orienteering Challenge

How does the forest adapt to the changing seasons? Imagining themselves as photographers and equipped with cardboard cameras, students explore Mount Royal and "take pictures" of what they find interesting.

During this activity, kids discover Mount Royal in a new way. Equipped with maps and compasses, they have all kinds of fun learning to observe their environment and use traditional, analog tools to find their way around as they trek through the mountain’s Symposium and Summit Loop sectors.
