Snowshoe Excursion: The Joy of Winter

Come learn to snowshoe in the winter wonderland that awaits you on Mount Royal! As you glide along the mountain’s snowy trails, learn about how its fauna and flora adapt to winter. Accompanied by our guides, delve into the history of snowshoeing and relive this wonderful tradition on the mountain. 

Starting and end point: Beaver Lake Pavilion

Duration: Approximately 2 h (preparation + 1.5-hr excursion) on a 3-km, intermediate-level trail (climbs and descents).

Language: This activity is offered in French, but questions in English are welcome. 

Rate (plus tax): $25 for those 16 years of age and older

Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Cancellation or Refund: Please note that your registration is non-refundable and non-transferable to another date. Should Les Amis de la montagne decide to cancel the activity due to weather conditions, we will contact you by email one day in advance to let you know, and a credit will appear in your Amilia account.
