Tree plantation follow-up activity

In a nutshell

  • What: This activity consists of monitoring the planted trees on Mount Royal.
  • When: May 18 from 10AM to 12PM
  • Where: Reception at Smith House

Activity description

Every spring, we return to our planting sites to document the survival and growth rates of the trees we have planted. This data provides us with valuable information that enables us to adjust our planting strategies. For volunteers, it's the perfect opportunity to learn more about the diversity of plants that make up Mount Royal's forests.

The mission is simple: find planted trees, evaluate their health, measure their height and note any signs of disturbance.
