At the Root of the Tree is a 2.5 hour immersive sound walk through Mount Royal’s forest. Equipped by an audio guide, the activity is self-guided and can be experienced freely at your own pace. It invites participants to discover the trees, their fragile ecosystem, and their unique character. Created by Portrait sonore, the experience features audio with expert, stories from park users, and short capsules on the creation of the park, blending science, poetry, and attentive listening to the living world

Suggested departure: Sir George-Étienne Cartier Monument (4200, Avenue du Parc, Montréal,  H2W 1S8).
