2.5 hour guided sound walk at Mount Royal with Sophie Mankowski on trees, their interactions, and the urban forest.

At the Root of the Tree: A Sound Walk with Sophie Mankowski

Accompanied by creator and director Sophie Mankowski, this immersive 2.5 hour walk offers an excerpt from the sound experience At the Root of the Tree. Through conversations and listening experiences, participants discover the trees of Mount Royal’s forest, its history, and its unique character. Expert testimony, stories from park users, and sensitive perspectives reveal the hidden dimensions of the plant world and invite reflection on our relationship with the living world.
