Kiosk: Paroles de paysages

Come learn about the history of winter sports on the mountain, the pavilion’s architectural importance and how nature adapts to surviving in winter.

Kiosk: Paroles de paysages

This winter, Les Amis de la Montagne is launching a new project, Paroles de paysages, to highlight the natural and cultural heritage of the mountain. Mobile information kiosks will be set up with educational staff to highlight three of the mountain’s iconic sites: the Mount Royal Chalet and Kondiaronk Belvedere, Beaver Lake, and Tiohtià:ke Otsira’kéhne Park on the Outremont Summit. Located near the Smith House, the first kiosk to be launched will focus on winter themes such as the long and rich history of winter sports on the mountain and how nature adapts to survive through the winter. Paroles de paysages is a three-year project supported by the City of Montréal and the Ministère de la Culture et des Communications.

Saturdays, 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., from mid-February to mid-March.

Free

Please note that the kiosk schedule may vary and it will be canceled in the event of bad weather.

To ensure the health and safety of the participants, please follow all public health measures in effect.
