In this program that spans the entire school year, students grow saplings from seeds, and learn about the importance of urban flora. The program begins with a guided excursion on the mountain, during which students harvest seeds. They then plant them and tend the young shoots and tree saplings in the classroom. The year ends with a final visit to Mount Royal.
