Over 400 Snowshoers including 75 Runners Attend 20th Edition of the Tuques Bleues Fundraiser!

The 20th edition of the Tuques Bleues benefit event brought together close to 400 snowshoers and 75 runners on a snow-laden Mount Royal last Thursday evening,  February 16. 

Where to Snowshoe on Mount Royal?

In the past few years, recreational snowshoeing has grown in popularity throughout the province, including on Mount Royal! The peace and quiet of the forest, the wonderful views of the city, and the grade of the slopes which provide the occasional challenge even for the more athletic, make our mountain an ideal place for snowshoers.

Mount Royal: UNESCO World Heritage Site?

Les amis de la montagne is thrilled with Mount Royal’s application to be considered for inclusion on Canada’s Tentative List for World Heritage Sites. This is the first step towards Mount Royal’s possible recognition as UNESCO World Heritage Site.
