Planting native trees and shrubs

The activity consists of planting native trees and shrubs in Mount Royal Park.
Planting native trees and shrubs

Plantations on Mount Royal aim to complement the fight against invasive species, support the forest’s natural regeneration, and ensure the closure of informal trails. Thanks to the involvement of numerous volunteers, our partners, and the City of Montréal, almost 40,000 native trees and shrubs have been planted on Mount Royal since 1994.
