Descending Mount Royal

Join us on this discovery walk down the eastern flank of Mount Royal, from the summit to Plateau-Mont-Royal. Accompanied by a guide from Les amis de la montagne, you will discover Mount Royal’s lush woodlands while enjoying breathtaking views of the city and surrounding scenery. Exceptionally offered as a downhill trek, the walk will end in time to allow you to join the Olmsted and Mount Royal Park, Past and Present conference. This is a free conference for which registration is required.

Please note that this discovery walk includes a few stairs and follows a 4 km linear circuit, with different starting and arrival points:

Starting point: Mount Royal Chalet

Arrival point: Musée des Hospitalières de l’Hôtel-Dieu de Montréal,  201 Pine Avenue West.

Rate (plus tax): $20 per person

Duration: 2 h 30

Date: May 24, departure at 9:00 AM

Meet at the departure point 15 minutes before the activity begins.

This activity is offered in French but questions in English are welcome.

To ensure the health and safety of all participants, we have adjusted our activities in light of the current public health recommendations.

Cancellation or Refund

Please note that your registration is non-refundable and non-transferable to another date. Should Les amis de la montagne decide to cancel the activity due to weather conditions or a lack of participants, we will contact you by email one day in advance to let you know. You will then be refunded.
