This guided discovery walk shines a new light on a lesser-known summit of Mount Royal by exploring the mountain’s hidden side.

Who says that the mountain ends at the edges of Mount Royal Park? Discover the hidden side of the mountain and its institutions through an itinerary that reveals a variety of landscapes, including century-old oak and maple forests, Tiohtià:ke Otsira'kéhne Park, the mountain's cemeteries and a portion of the Université de Montréal campus.

Please note that this discovery walk is an uphill climb that includes some stairs and that it follows a 5 km linear circuit with different starting and arrival points:

Starting point: George-Étienne Cartier Monument (Mount Royal Park/Park Ave)

Arrival point: Côte-des-Neiges metro station

Rate (plus tax): $20 per person

Duration: 2 h 30

Meet at the starting point 15 minutes before the activity begins.

This activity is offered in French but questions in English are welcome.

Cancellation or Refund

Please note that your registration is non-refundable and non-transferable to another date. Should Les amis de la montagne decide to cancel the activity due to weather conditions, we will contact you by email one day in advance to let you know. You will then be refunded.
