Snowshoe Excursion: A Critter in the Woods

This winter, bring your family to Mount Royal to search for a mysterious animal that moves around in the forest.

Accompanied by our guides, strap on a pair of snowshoes and set out on the snowy trails of Mount Royal. A mysterious animal moves around the area regularly, and you and your family will learn to snowshoe while following its tracks and solving puzzles. After this hike, animals of Mount Royal in winter will hold no secrets for you!

Starting and end point: Beaver Lake Pavilion

Duration: 2 hours (preparation + 1.5-hr hike) on an intermediate-level trail (climbs and descents).

Language: This activity is offered in French, but questions in English are welcome. 

Rates (plus tax):

  • 8-15 years: $14
  • 16 years and over: $24
  • Family of 4 (minimum 1 child and minimum 1 adult): $64

Note that all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Cancellation or Refund: Please note that your registration is non-refundable and non-transferable to another date. Should Les Amis de la montagne decide to cancel the activity due to weather conditions, we will contact you by email one day in advance to let you know, and a credit will appear in your Amilia account.
